Agape's Attempts  by Agape4Gondor 299 Review(s)
LindeleaReviewed Chapter: 76 on 4/12/2013
Alas, poor Boromir. I'm glad he found peace at the last.

Author Reply: Me, too! Our Man of Gondor had suffered enough. Even if he did scare the bejeebies out of Frodo. :-)

Thanks for reading.

Vivid imagery! You imagine Boromir's thoughts very well; I love the memory of Faramir's rebuke, and how true it rang in the present circumstance.

Author Reply: Bless you. I love the vivid imagery line.

Ah, Sam. If anyone could do it, he could! (And lovely, and so like him, that the prize money would not be for himself, but for flowers for his mum.)

Author Reply: I just love a good pumpkin patch. I'm not so sure if Sam's Gaffer would enjoy the amount of space these lovely globes take up, but I'm sure his mum would love them. Thanks for commenting!

Ah, a lovely glimpse of Beregond (one of my favourite characters), in time of peace.

Author Reply: Oh! Thank you for reading these. I too like Beregond. Especially him and Pip.

Very powerful, Agape. Boromir is so tortured, but I'm glad that at the end he found peace. Welcome back. You've been missed.

Author Reply: At least I still read "Tolkien" stuff. I hope to write more.

I needed a bit of peace, too!

Thanks for commenting. Most appreciated.

Ohhhh, how poignant. I know Boromir found peace somehow. This is well done. *sniff*

Author Reply: Here's one of Bilbo's hankies. He dropped it when he was helping Fili climb out of the barrel. It washed down to the Anduin. Boromir found it and used it in his grief. Aragorn gave it to Faramir. Being a descendant of the Man of Gondor, I happened to get it. I would like it back, when you're finished with it.

BTW - so happy you read and commented.

This touched me so deeply that I cannot find an appropriate comment. My heart has always ached for Boromir. Knowing that all is not lost and his brother will be safe is the only thing that made his passing easier for him.

Author Reply: Bless you. Yes, Faramir has a long and loved-ones filled life ahead of him.

I second that toast! And add another for the People of Middle Earth!
(Little Voice in my Head: Yes, yes, that was excellent! Simply marvellous! It's time for your medicine now...)

Uhm, so, yeah....good story! :D :D

(shudder)
Yeah, that happens to me, too (the horrifying things that occured on Middle Earth bit...).
Morgoth wasn't very nice, was he (wry smile)?

Good story...

Ah, and may it indeed be so!

Author Reply: Indeed! As for me and mine............
