“And don’t you evergo on an adventure without me and Merry, either, all right?”

Frodo nodded solemnly, gazing into the earnest green eyes. “I promise,” he whispered back.

I like how you put that in. :)

What a fascinating story. You really give the Tooks (and Esmeralda and Frodo and others) such depth, and unfold a long, magical history that weaves together for the good of the Shire.

Author Reply: Thank you Shirebound! I appreciate all the wonderful and thoughtful comments you have made throughout the telling of my tale! And, it's almost done, finally - WHEEE!

And perhaps he begins to understand just why his father didn't answer all his questions as he finds himself redirecting his own wife's attention from her own.

Lovely homecoming; no one quite believes him, although Frodo is on the verge of it; and the rest of the family rejoices. And even Tulip wishes to enjoy a hot bath! Heh!

And love the poetry you've been using to introduce the last few chapters.

Author Reply: Well, lucky for Pad that Eglantine is more centered on nothing other than having her little one back safely. Thank you for *all* of your very kind comments through all these chapters - I really appreciate it so much! And yes, it's been a great deal of fun seeking out appropriate Faerie-related poetry, so I'm pleased to hear you liked it.

Oh, I loved the changes--they came out so well, especially the extra parts with Merry and his sisters!

Great job, sweetie! I look forward to the epilogue!

Author Reply: Hey, thanks so much Dreamflower! You have been absolutely awesome throughout the telling of this tale, and I appreciate all the very generous comments you have made, both in review and as my beta. Your suggestions were wonderful, as usual, and the little extra boost and insights into each chapter are appreciated beyond belief!!!

Whew, working on the Epilogue and then it's done, ha! At last....

Finally, Paladin has his little lad back again :)

I could feel with him and occasionally grew as impatient as he did with the Oak's Spirit's answers.

“It would seem you have all the answers sorted out, as usual,” Paladin muttered in irritation

LOL!!! I especially liked that reply :)

I loved the blessing with the river water for both, Pippin and Tulip, and I wonder if the faerie stone will reappear in other stories. (I remember the stone Larner mentioned.)

Thank you very much!

Hooray! The lost is home, brought home by the triumphant--and suitably warned--hunter, with fairy stone in hand! Will it, as does the one first Frodo and later Sam found in Buckland, help him see beyond glamours one day? Ah, what the blessing to have received!

Author Reply: I think the stone may figure into several things in Pip's future, *and* will likely help him see beyond the glamours, yes indeed! It's going to be great fun for the author to find out, at least, and hopefully for the readers too. As always, Bonnie, thank you for your continued review and support of this story!

Loved the Chapter! Now they are back together again! :)
And I would very much like the whole story to the scene you described...you know with Pip thinking he could fly like a bird. *g*

Author Reply: Golden, another request, hmm? Well, I actually already have an idea in mind, so we'll see. I'm so pleased to hear you liked the chapter!!!

Bravo!! I'm so glad wee Pip is back with his parents, save and sound :-)

I love poor Paladin's struggles to keep his temper and stay somewhat calm, and I love Tulip getting her very own blessing :-)

Wonderful, Cathleen!!

Author Reply: Thank you, Pearl! I'm glad he's back with his family too, and with lots of stories to tell.....hee! Glad to hear you liked this chapter - it's almost done, whoohooo!!!!

Pippin held his toy up. “Will you give Tulip a special blessing too, Alfie?” The knitted piglet squeaked with delight

Awwwww.

Yay, happy reunion! Whew.

Author Reply: Thank you, Shirebound! Only one more chapter and a brief epilogue and it's *finally* done - yippeee!

Ah, so sweet, Cathleen! Paladin learns patience, and Pippin a different sort of patience.

Author Reply: Yes indeed, father and son both learn important lessons on their journey. Thanks so much for continuing to read and comment, Bonnie!
