Wow, Gondor really needs help - poor little Faramir, and Indis doesn't seem to be doing so well either!

Author Reply: I second that - Gondor really needs help.

Gondor could certainly use a return visit by Captain Thorongil. Trust Gandalf to get the word out!

Yikes, poor little Faramir is in bad shape, and Indis doesn't seem much better. Looks like they could use some help!

Theodred is a brave little chap. The Rohirrim are well-written here - and the people of Mundberg owe them a huge debt.

More soon, I hope!

Author Reply: I have absolutely fallen in love with the Rohirrim... due to Eomund's awesome behavior in 'Sings' - now Theodred is quickly growing up.

I am sorry that our poor Faramir is still in the grip of the Valar only know what - but I'm hopeful...

Thank you for your compliments!

Oh, thank goodness - you'd suggested in the previous story that 'Thorongil' might have been with Denethor's party. Thank goodness he's still around.

Author Reply: I can't wait till Indis sees 'Thorongil' - should be fun! I remember you wondered about him dying with Denethor's party - but he was not there - he left Gondor in 2980 and this occurs in 2989.

No fair--a cliffhanger! Except, having read the last story I do know already. Am very glad to see that Aragorn is ready this time to reprise Thorongil and aid as the boy grows, or so I must suppose.

Love that NO one wishes to sit at the table where the mysterious Strider sits the odd times he's able to visit Bree.

Author Reply: I can't wait to see what part Thorongil has in this too. You know Indis must have known him - being as much a part of the politics of Gondor as she had been while Denethor was alive.

And I'm soooo glad you noticed about the table... I got the biggest kick out of that when the muse presented the idea. Being from a rural area, I'm sure superstitions ran rampant... and Rangers probably played a big part in them!

Thanks ever so much for responding, Larner!

How sad. I confess I hardly could read through "My sword sings", it was... you know, like bad news you don't want to know. And now I hope once Aragorn is in the story, it all should end well, with crown, wedding and healing, but what dreadfull path will lead to that end?

Author Reply: Oh! Phyloxena....

As I wrote in the little header for 'Sings' - I too was taken aback by the path the muse took me. I did not like it one bit, but knew she was going somewhere??? The title sounded so promising....

I'm hoping 'Weeps' is going to lead to happiness for all concerned... another little boy is going to become a man; I can feel it already.

Thanks for responding!
