I am always impressed by how much detail you can weave into a story in so few words. The destruction of the House of the Golden Flower was tragic, and this tiny golden flower reminds me much of other things created by the exiles - they fall under the curse and even things created for good or for beauty have an ill end. I could just picture Glorfindel seeing this flower again upon his return (if you follow the one Glorfindel path) and how he must desire to just cast it into the sea! |

Oh, heartbreaking chapter. I've never seen their parting from quite that point of view before. Interesting that they got to speak briefly with their father; I'd wondered if that might have happened, and what such a reunion would be like. I think you captured it well. I'm looking forward to where you take us next. |

What an interesting tale you're spinning here! I always enjoy seeing events from the POV of non-canon others that are written well, as you have done here. And one of the most interesting things about the longevity of the Eldar is the way events and objects keep popping up in their lives. I'm looking forward to where you take us next. |
