| Oh dear! Every clue only leads so far. Durmir sounds a thoroughly unpleasant piece of work, so I can well believe he is one step further on the way to the big cheese. And a very ruthless big cheese he is, too. There's a nice feeling of camaraderie among the survivors - and Lithmor's last words are enough to put them on their guard. I hope, anyway. Thranduil and Legolas have suffered enough. Perhaps it would be wise to put Sam in charge of some of the enquiries - he's got a definite point. And those who won't speak in front of their servants will probably be far too careful not to talk - which is suspicious in itself. I think Elladan and Elrohir have picked up some ideas about just who Serai's attacker is. And I don't hold out much hope for his long-term health. | |
