| I've not known hallucinations myself, but have been around those who did. It can be pretty scary, of course. And the worry for Frodo is quite well expressed. Author Reply: I had two very odd hallucinations in my life, one from anesthesia and one from exhaustion, and they're VERY strange and scary. I'm afraid Frodo reaps the dubious benefit of my personal experience, here. | |
