| This is wonderful... very poignant. I like his transition from childhood wonder to jarring reality. Very well written... congratulations. Author Reply: Thank you! Real Frodo-experts have said it is bit more movie-Frodo than book-Frodo and they could be right - but I still think he was in that extended childhood of the well-to-do until all this happened. | Nicely done. The drabble and title go together hand-in-glove. This could very well be the stream of Frodo's thoughts as he steps forward. Lovely imagery, how well you evoke Shire life in just a few words!
