I rejoice to see the healing already being made manifest in the camp, and Frodo and Sam both doing so well. Glad that those warriors who like fishing are allowed to be useful in such a manner.

There is hope for the children as they return to Minas Tirith.

I read this first a few days ago, but was disturbed before I could comment. Glad to have an excuse to read it again.

Author Reply: I'm glad you did, too! =) Thank goodness everybody is healing. K.G.

Author Reply: Yep, those who like to fish will certainly be useful--and face it a nearby river is going to be a good source of food! DF

I will go among them to see which might be suitable for pulling waggons instead of being ridden.

Oh, what a clever idea. Trust Eomer (and you) to think of that.

LOL, fish stew wouldn't be my first choice, either!

Author Reply: Wouldn't be mine, either! =)

Yes, it was clever of Eomer to come up with that idea, wasn't it? K.G.

Author Reply: Well, they have to transport the wounded somehow, and it seems that there would not be a lot of draught horses there at a battle. And if some of the riders were among the wounded, their horses might be available.

Fish stew is not my favorite either, however being close to the river means it was probably the most easily obtainable source of meat! And a lot of people do like fish stew. I think it's all in what people are used to. DF
