Rejoice, all ye people, for Sauron has been thrown down, and the darkness shall be driven away!

I love seeing Gimli using the club as a lever to lift the troll to Pippin and Kevin's rescue. Yay for Dwarves!

Author Reply: You said it! =)

I just love the end to this chapter. Praise them with great (if unusual) praise!

Author Reply: Indeed! Well, J.R.R. Tolkien never thought to include a modern-day American teenage girl in his novel. =) K.G.

Oh, except she said not to touch the water *after* Her ring was set free, so that’s not it! Hmmm...

Author Reply: Apparently, that was always her rule for those she invited to look into her Mirror.

Yay! Good job, Gimli and Legolas! Get that hobbit to the King!

(And Beregond! Thank you! I’m always glad to see him. But he wasn’t the one who Pippin saved? Interesting.)

Steve and Gail are sweet. I’m glad he’s going to be all right.

Intriguing glimpse into the mirror there ... (and the pippish part of me wonders what happens if someone touches the water ... although the more mature part just answered that maybe that would strip away some level of protection somehow, and maybe reveal Lady Galadriel clearly to the Enemy, or something like that.)

Hah! Cheerleading! It just might catch on.

(And Merry. Love his reaction.)

Author Reply: It would be interesting to see what would happen if someone ever did touch the water, huh? I suppose that the visions would just disappear. K.G.

Author Reply: And yeah, it would be most interesting if Middle-earth ever formed cheerleading teams! [g] K.G.
