| Ah! If he only knew! Heh! Being a book-firster, I never understood the arrival of Lothlorien Elves at Helm's Deep, and rejoice Arwen's part in that move was excised. But I rejoice that Haleth has such a friend as Kevin. Author Reply: Yes, Haleth is very fortunate in that respect. Yes, this other way that the Elvish army was sent works better, doesn't it? Author Reply: I wasn't so fond of the Elves at Helm's Deep, either, but there were some elements of that movie-sequence that suited our storyline better at that point, so we went with it. It turned out pretty well, I think. I'm sure Haldir likes our version better, anyway. ;-) DF Author Reply: Actually, I like it that the Elves came to fight with the Rohirrim in the movie; I don't like it that Haldir was killed there! This way, Dreamflower and I could fix it so that he was saved from being killed in battle. K.G. | |
