An Unexpected Adventure [IN HIATUS]  by KathyG 4 Review(s)

I see that Treebeard is getting philosophical on the others. I wonder how Boromir's return to Minas Tirith will go based on Galadrial's prophecy. Like Kevin, I too wonder what the prophetic blend of Bible verses and prophecy will mean for him.
Thanks,
atealgirl

Ah, and so Gandalf returns! That's my favorite part of this chapter - especially the messages for Boromir and Kevin! Most intriguing...

(Really, Gwaihir, don't joke about dropping Gandalf! Not funny!)

Also, I forgot to mention...Faran, hmm? *grins* I wonder why that name sounds familiar. Another coincidence? :)

So there's Shadowfax! And the sundered Fellowship continue on their separate ways - to the Entmoot, to Edoras, and though we haven't seen it yet...to Mordor. *shivers*

Author Reply: Yes, only you won't read about the journey to Mordor in our story. Any information that the children gain about Mordor, and about Frodo and Sam's journey there, will be acquired secondhand. You will read about the journeys to the Entmoot, Edoras, Helm's Deep, and Minas Tirith, though!

Author Reply: Glad you like the messages for our two extra hunters! DF

A wonderful reunion, and love the new message poems. I rejoice that Boromir's presence will prove of benefit once they reach Edoras. And I do love Treebeard!

Author Reply: Me, too! Thank goodness Jennifer, Joey, and the hobbits are in good hands with Treebeard. And thank goodness Boromir is NOT just a fond memory, as he is in the book and the movies!

Author Reply: We've been having a lot of fun writing Treebeard. DF

"And how do you know your trees are not sentient if they do not speak?" Treebeard asked, his voice sounding amused, and both children found themselves wondering about that.

Such a wonderful thing to ponder. It's wonderful that Boromir and Kevin were included in the Lady's rhyming advice. I like that idea very much. :)

Author Reply: Thanks! I'm glad you do. K.G.

Author Reply: We had quite a time coming up with appropriate verses for Boromir and Kevin. We hope events will prove up to the hints in the poems.
