A Red Sun Rises  by Katzilla 1 Review(s)
demeter dReviewed Chapter: 12 on 11/3/2020
Is it not always darkest before the dawn! A tense chapter, perhaps even more so than the full-out battle scenes! That seems very much as it must have been between Eowyn, the King and their "Worm". Could that fever have been a result of withdrawal from whatever he had been giving Theoden? Hmm. Now we shall see if you go with book verse and have Eomer and company arrive to be imprisoned, or movie and have them arrive after the three plus Gandalf? I will be anxiously watching!

Author Reply: Hi Demeter,

thanks a lot for commenting! Yes, they do say that... but let me assure you that regarding darkness in this story, you have seen nothing yet! I'm glad to read that you think this in tune with what was only communicated between the lines in both the books and the movies. I definitely think that Gríma built such a dependency into his potions to make sure that they could not simply throw him out. I really leave to write this game of cat and mouse between him and Éowyn (whatever that says about me ;-)).

Cheers,
Kat
