Love reading new Elves characters, especially the Noldor Elves of Rivendell *faints*

Can I ask if you could in your next fanfic have Ravenne in the storyline as well? Or other Rivendell Elves of your creation please.

Le hannon.

Happy New Year to you, mellon nin.

Namarie.

I felt as if you had given me a wonderful Christmas gift when I came here and found this. So good to see them again, and at this point in their lives.

I like this moment of crystallisation as Nethril realises that she is not attracted to Glorfindel, but to Merineth, and that this also holds true for which of her fellow mortals attract her, as well.

And I can just imagine Elrond, back in Rivendell, not wanting Gilraen to make this journey as she was bound to face the questions that she did, and worrying that more people would know that Aragorn was still alive!

Author Reply: Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed the return of these characters, given how long it's been since I've last written them.

I originally began this fic almost four years ago, from Gilraen's POV--it wasn't quite working, so I shelved it, and when I returned to it last month Nethril's voice and struggles called more to me, so it cut right to when they first arrive in the Angle. But the conversation between Gilraen and Elrond did get written in an early draft, and let's just say he was...not wild about this whole endeavor. To say the least :P.

I love your description of Gilraen, and the song is just perfect. Thank you for a wonderful end-of-year tale.

Author Reply: Ah, thank you so much!! I went back and forth about including the song in full, so I'm very glad to hear it worked for you <3
