This is a rather sad story, but I'm glad Maedhros won Elros's love. The sons of Fëanor did terrible things, but they suffered terrible things also.

Loved the inner conflict as Maedhros must admit to himself that he has become rather frightening. Very melancholy.

A good means of attracting the attention of the child, who after all had been through a traumatic experience, and of winning his acceptance, perhaps even his love.

Thank you!

Author Reply: That's precisely what I wanted to play with the scene. Thank you for your kind review!

I liked this very much, seeing Maedhros "giving in" and making the picture for the little twin I can believe that is was Elros, too, for he became the king who moved his people to a new land and start over with nothing. I suspect that he had little adventures as a child since that last venture of his was such a big one.

Thanks for sharing!

Love this piece! to be honest I was actually guessing it to be Elrond instead of Elros that intruded upon Maedhros' room.

More please :)

Author Reply: I did consider Elrond for a moment, but poor Elros barely gets the spotlight!

And I intend to! ;)
