Poor sweet Faramir!😢 I can see the gentle Steward before my eyes so hurt. This was an emotional chapter indeed and so wellwritten as is the whole story. So much fear and pain it must have been for Faramir out in the forest. Sure hope Legolas finds the miscreants and release some of his elvish wrath upon them just like his willful father King.Let quail a little Linda!
Its heartwarming to see the mens relation, theyre like son and father. Looking forward to next chapter.

I love the h/c in this chapter. Poor Faramir! But great healing by Aragorn. :D I liked the details about the different herbs and medical practices. He really needs to get better soon!
Can't believe those ruffians were so cruel. I hope they are caught soon too!

Faramir is seriously dehydrated!

(Perhaps Elessar ought to have the men brew some salty broth for him to drink.)

I am glad the Healer King has determined that the wounds are not mortal.

I hope Legolas has no trouble finding the Men, subduing them, and bringing them to Minas Tirith.

(Yay, more Beregond! Was glad to see him.)

Wow! Perhaps not out of danger yet, and a lot of work to do. But there is hope for him now. I suspect that after several years of living in the colony near Faramir, Legolas has become friends with Faramir and Eowyn as well as with Aragorn. Tracking down the miscreants would be personal for him. It is reassuring for them, I think, that Legolas promised that when they were caught he would take them to Minas Tirith. Does that mean there is a greater chance they will still be ALIVE to face the King's justice? Many writers have written about Wood Elves's ideas of vengeance and justice. I would not like to have been those men if the Elves had been left to their own customs! I always like to read your descriptions of Aragorn's healings. They are especially good when he heals Faramir, or someone else that he cares for. I will continue to watch for more!
By the way, while I have you "on the line" as it were. I hope that you, and all of our writers who have been with Stories of Arda for so many years, have let their next of kin or friends know how to notify your beta or the site if we lose you! After the departure of dear Arthur "Fiondil" this year, I have been thinking how much many of my favorite authors would be missed!

After suffering such tortures I rejoice that Faramir now knows the healing ministrations his friend the King is able to offer him.

Whew, I can finally join the story! Thank you for the comfort.

Faramir’s pain ravaged features visibly relaxed. "Do not endanger yourself, " he whispered.

What an incredibly noble man. I love how you write these two.
