This is really good and so entertaining and suspenseful. I loved all the chapters but i'm so glad for Aragorn to finally find Faramir!

Author Reply: THank you. I'm pleased you are enjoying this story.

The once restless Shield Maiden has now learned to bear the heavy mantle of leadership. With both children and the Pricipality of Ithilien counting on her, she stays at home and does exactly what she railed against during the war; stay at home and find food and beds for the ones doing the riding into danger! You have let us know that Aragorn would rely on HER to rule and guard Ithilien if Faramir was not found! It is nice to see Elestelle retains some of her father's gifts. I am sure that many stories could be created about the gifted children of the generation of the Ring War. The arrival of Legolas with "twenty elves skilled in forestry and tracking" reminded me of Mr. Jackson bringing two or three hundred Lothlorien warriors to Helms Deep! Not a large number, to be sure, but because of who and what they were, bringers of hope all the same. I liked the way you have had the white deer as a connecting thread through the story. I wonder if somehow the young stag will help lead to the brigands! I would be interested, once you have Faramir tucked in and healing, to see the rest of the story from Iavas's point of view! You have reminded us that she is Rohan born and trained. I suspect that she would have her own notions about her captor's actions. Speaking of horses, "Fione Culina's" name sounds rather Celtic to my unlearned ears. Is that a name from Rohan, and what does it mean?

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. Yes, Eowyn has now learned that those who stay at home also play a vital part.

It would indeed be interesting to hear Iavas' point of view!

Raksha chose the horse's name.I don't know where it's from. We've decided to change it to an Elvish name.

oh my, oh my, circling crows can mean nothing good! Aragron hurry - I fear Faramir is in dire need. As always a chapter with building up tension. Thank you for a evening read at the edge of my seat. Lai

Author Reply: Thank you so much. I'm pleased this had you on the edge of your seat.

I reviewed in great haste, earlier. Have a little more time now...

The dream was interesting, and that two people shared a similar dream. The blood of Westernesse...

I am going to be a pest and beg for more glimpses of Beregond, as you do your editing and revising. As Captain of the White Company, he ought to be in the thick of things! (Sorry. Forgive me for my interfering ways?)

I am so glad they did not follow the hoofprints, but listened to Legolas!

Still, I hope they *do* eventually follow the hoofprints, and give those evil Men their just deserts.

Author Reply: I promise you that you will see more of Beregond.

Legolas will not let the villains escape.

I rejoice that they have found him, and in time to save him. Now, to find the brigands who left him to die a terrible and agonizingly slow death!

Author Reply: Many thanks for your review. The brigands deserve a nasty fate indeed.

Oh, my!

I'm glad they found him, but what kind of shape is he in?

Those circling carrion crows have me worried!

Author Reply: Many thanks for reviewing. Aragorn will have a hard task ahead of him, but if anyone can help Faramir, Aragorn can.
