I hope you don't mind my spamming this...
I KNEW I had read a lot of your stories, but not here, then finally I remembered, it was waaaaay back at lotrfanfiction. You'd written the story about the girl reborn as a horse in Rohan, and others that I really liked.
I've gone too long! I hadn't heard of the archive Faerie. I'll go sign myself up right now...
Anyway, I am glad that you're still writing!!

Author Reply: I don't mind at all!

Yes, that was Second Chance, way back in the day. That story is posted over at Faerie now; Esteliel set up that site when Adora gave up part of the ownership of lotrfanfiction and there was talk of it being run for profit (not sure how that would have worked with copyright regs and all, but, y'know). As I reposted, I reworked some of my stories, so they might be a bit different from the way you remember them; I took a long break from fanfic in my last two years of university (I was desperately trying to write my dissertation!) and when I came back to fanfic I could see a lot of my work needed improvement.

Hope to see you over at Faerie! There's a chat box there, so members can talk to each other about RL that way instead of having to have conversations via review, which is quite cool :)

The white cat embodies all you'd expect in a feline - independent, clever, and a bit traitorous!

Author Reply: Thank you :) that was the idea!

All these reviews have made my day - thank you for taking the time out to leave them!

"the cat who walks by herself" – that is perfect! Love the Kipling reference, and the unique twist you put on this. I adore this, and your other stories here. They're wonderful. You have a fantastic series going, I eagerly wait for what you come up with next! :)

Kipling would be proud of this cat, I think! Although I found myself a bit disappointed to find she didn't find a cockroach to serve as her companion. Heh! Love that this cat finds a means to undermine Beruthiel's malice, and intends to abandon her in the end.

Author Reply: Thank you, Larner! No, no cockroach for this cat - but I'm glad you think Kipling would be proud of her.
