Well this is a twist isn't? Tom a father and speechless! Cute. And glad the sisters are going to take care of the men now instead of letting them drown. Goldberry is a good influence.

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: That's what big sisters are for;);) LOL Yes, I loved the idea of silencing Tom, if only for a few moments...and high time he had a young 'un or two, don't you think? If he's as good a father as he is a husband, that should be one happy kid! Thanks for commenting Antane!:):):)

He may not have a mannish height, nor Elvish looks, but I would trade him for neither, for he treats me as his queen.

What a lovely reason, and what a delightful and creative story! I enjoyed this very much.

Author Reply: Thanks Shirebound! I had fun writing this, once the main idea solidified. I love when that happens, don't you?:):)

And was probably no more than they deserved!

Author Reply: Probably! And I doubt they'll be much missed--poor souls!

Too cute!!! Very original and refreshing. Particularly liked the description of "forget-me-not eyes and buttercream skin". Maer narn! (Good Story!)

Author Reply: Oh thanks Angwen! So glad you think so. I had a good time writing this one, once it really started to take shape in my head. I'm pleased that description works for you. It was originally "bright blue eyes and creamy skin" then I thought, "You can do better than that!" lol

Thanks once more!:):)

O Armariel, I love it!! Hehe, I hadn't thought about siblings for Goldberry! But of course she ought to have sisters. And these two sisters of hers were utterly charming. As for those men they met on the way...well, I can only just imagine what happened to them! Eek!

I want to know more about Lotus, and what his grandmother will think of him! *grin*

Kaylee

Author Reply: Thanks Kaylee! Well, leave it to Wagner and his three Rhinemaidens, they inspired me, and also the Lorelei legend.... And I'm disinclined to think too much about what happened to the men on the road *shudder* But somehow I doubt they'll be much missed in the village or outside of it!

As for little Lotus...well, that might be an idea for a sequel! Thanks for putting it into my head *grin*
