Murder Most Foul  by Larner 3 Review(s)
BranwynReviewed Chapter: 12 on 11/24/2011
So Medril's wife, daughter, and son are all liars, and don't seem to care that someone is going to hang based on their misrepresentations. I feel a little sorry for Medril.
All of the menfolk shuddered at the mere thought of it.
Lol...yes, men tend to be very sensitive about that particular topic!

Author Reply: Well, it's not like they are convinced that Danarion is innocent, after all, or that he's someone they particularly care about.

And I have seen more than one guy suddenly reach protectively toward his privates when discussing the mutilation seen on poor little Christopher Byers.

So many lies. Leverion's attitude of "they didn't think it was me so why should I correct them" is a little disturbing, but then again many would do that (to a lesser extent, perhaps). Faradir does like his comforts (and he knows how to 'barter' with Berevrion) :) Good chapter!
God Bless!

Author Reply: Oh, yes--a family that has done well on lies--or at least until now. But that's ending now. And Faradir does intend to be properly compensated for the physical discomforts of the day. Thanks so, Szepilona!

The stories are starting to unravel, I see, to the dismay of Medril and his son, and I expect Medril's wife and daughter to become quite dismayed soon, as well!

Author Reply: Yes, the stories are beginning to unravel a bit at a time, and I doubt that Anhilde and Lysse are going to feel quite comfortable embroidering upon the truth for a time! Heh!
