The Green Knight  by Le Rouret 4 Review(s)
SaberReviewed Chapter: 23 on 2/2/2004

Oooo...so the Stweard arrives and the mysterious 'Captain' remains a mystery.

*slaps Faramir*

Honestly! Is no one capable of keeping their mouths shut anymore? *sigh*

Hmm...so Aragorn has gone AWOL? Sweet...

Again, wonderful, wonderful! I used to hate Mondays, but you've managed to brighten them considerably. ;D

Aaa! Hi, Faramir!
How like Legolas to be uncomfortable with praise, and how like Bandy to be horrified that dinner was ruined! I agree, it's high time that endearing little hobbit was pampered a bit, especially after his courageous trial before. (Gimli's disciplinarian attitude reminds me of my sister with our little brother.)
The plot continues to thicken, and it seems getting through the Tournament unharmed will be only the first of their worries.
Kudos to you again for a great story! ;)

Leave it to Bandobras to chastise himself for not being able to prepare his masters dinner due to his captivity. And then he thinks of the celebrations as unnecessary fuss. But that makes him even more likeable. He is a Hobbit through and through. He has been hardly freed and already he starts to chatter about this and that and worries about dinner :-)

At least some troublemakers have been identified, though they will no longer answer to any questions. And then there are still those strangers in the Druadan Vale. I wonder what will be reveiled during the dinner at Faramir's mansion and what King Elessar's messenger will report (if he arrives in time).

Until next monday;)

Ah, it does my inner fangirl good to see Legolas hailed for defeating that entire band by himself. And Bandobras is absolutely wonderful - his distress over not having made dinner, when he was captured and beaten and nearly killed . . . oh, that made me laugh. The pieces are moving in earnest now, and I eagerly await the campaign down the river. Yet I rather suspect that the enemies will reveal themselves before then, and we'll have a truly grand conclusion to this tournament. Although at the rate we're going, by the time the Green Knight is unmasked there won't be many people left in the crowd to be surprised. ;)
