Boys will be Boys  by Linda Hoyland 4 Review(s)

I like this short story very much; especially the way Gilraen learns that Elrond is not a fearsome ogre when it comes to small boys' transgressions, but someone who can be 'kind as summer'...Gilraen's move to Imladris must have been disorienting as well as reassuring, and you capture her discomfort well.

I love this response to the prompt. Accepting that children are allowed to be children and make the mistakes and messes appropriate to them must have been quite the relief for Gilraen. And already Aragorn is proving his keen intelligence.

Hi Linda, what a lovely story. Elrond is nor so fearsome indeed. Like the first glimpse of Estel being interested in healing. Like this very much. Thank you. Lai
