If It's Trewsday It Must Be Buckland...  by Dreamflower 5 Review(s)

This is lovely, Dreamflower. I love poems about Arwen!

Author Reply: Ever since I wrote "The Token", I've been fascinated by the connections between Frodo and Arwen. They are much more closely connected than it appears at first when you read the story, and their sacrifices are like two sides of the same coin.

Finally, finally, getting back here - A lovely poem! Most interesting - immortality vs eternity, giving/losing one's entire self so others can live, indeed two sacrifices made at the Havens.

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: I am really intrigued by the parallels between Arwen's life and Frodo's and how they intersect!

This is a lovely reflection on Arwen and Frodo respectively, and reminds me of that beautiful story you wrote about the gem.

Author Reply: Thank you. I find the parallels with Arwen and Frodo to bear many layers of meaning, and it is fascinating to me to see how they are juxtaposed. And thank you, also, for mentioning "The Token" because that was the first time I really thought about it.
