A light lunch, indeed! Ha! *grin* Very well done, Dreamflower! Pippin *is* still a growing lad, after all...or that could be his excuse!

Author Reply: Well, yes, of course he's still a "growing lad", LOL!

Yum! Do you think he might be kind enough to share?

Author Reply: Probably! He *would* have shared with Merry, if Merry hadn't been so busy with those moldy old maps! I'm sure he'd welcome your company instead!

Love this! That sneaky Took... Sounds like a wonderful feast!

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: Pippin can be a very sneaky Took, can't he? 8-)

Ah well, it wasn't his fault that the Elven cooks thought he was picking up a picnic for all five of them.

ROTFL!!!

Absolutely wonderful! Thank you very much!

Author Reply: Weeellll...It wasn't his fault, was it? LOL!

I'm glad you enjoyed it.

LOL! Very hobbity! It stands to reason that a hobbit could eat enough for five. Probably works out to be just a snack for a growing tween.

Your list of foodstuffs is making me hungry... had better stir up some breakfast. Yum!

Thanks for a lovely start to the day.

Author Reply: You are quite right! I hope you enjoyed your breakfast!

And you are most welcome! *grin*

I hope he'll find someone to share with, or he'll be very sick!

Author Reply: I have a feeling Pip has more or less a cast iron stomach! And he *would* have shared with Merry, if Merry hadn't preferred the company of maps...

On the other hand, when Merry finds out he *didn't* share...LOL!

If the various elves ever compared notes and figured Pip ate it all himself.... Nah, they'd never believe it.

Of course, he was a growing tween: his body did need a major pig-out every so often. The entire bottle of perry, though, for a single hobbit.... Somebody must have realized he'd been up to something.

Chicken-and-mushroom pasties: I'll have to try those the next time I do pasties.

Author Reply: They might believe it, after having the hobbits as guests all those weeks. But yeah, Pip's still a tween, and he rarely pigs out alone. But once in while a lad needs a treat! And the perry, of course was meant for five. I doubt Pip will finish it all. While my Pip enjoys his ale and such, he's rather abstemious when alone, due to an unfortunate incident in his early tweens.

Chicken and mushrooms is a great combination!

Let's hope Pippen does not suffer too much from his 'light' lunch!
Greedy Hobbit!

Author Reply: I think, in general, that hobbits had cast-iron stomachs! I think it would take an awful lot to give one a bellyache!

Although in this case, it just might be...

it wasn't his fault that the Elven cooks thought he was picking up a picnic for all five of them.

*giggles* This is delightful!

Author Reply: Weeeellll, it wasn't...but of course, he made no effort at all to disillusion them, LOL!

Though when Merry finds out what he missed, he might be a tad miffed...
