Yay, Ingwe is back and taking charge. Although it seems most of his suspects either don't care, or are rather disenchanted with the royal family and the High King. Ingwion really needs to grow up. His behavior contrasts starkly with Arafinwe's.

Author Reply: Eek! I can't believe I never answered this review, obsidianj. Sorry about that. Better late than never, I guess. *grin* Anyway, Ingwion does need to grow up more, but one can excuse him somewhat given his concern (and guilt feelings) for his twin. Thanks for reviewing all my stories. I really appreciate it.

About time they start getting answers. Poor Ingwion needs to relax--he's so worked up he's doing himself no good at all.

Author Reply: You're right about that, Larner. Ingwion is working himself into a state that will do no good at all, but circumstances aren't making it easy for him to keep calm as we will see in subsequent chapters. Thanks for reading and reviewing. It's much appreciated.

Well I can understand why some people are not enthusiastic at Ingwe's return, they had been told he had run off and left Ingalure in charge and now they have to clear up after a storm such as they have never experianced before. Now he is back and they are not sure just what is happening.

So Ingwe knew about the tunnel and has used it on occasion. He is one smart ellon, the only way to find out what the people think is to go out amongst them and find out.

Things are going to start getting nasty very soon, I am not happy that Ingalure has only taken a couple of people with him and Ratty, he should have taken a whole squad of guards with him.

Waiting for Friday and hanging on tight, should I lay in a couple of handkerchiefs?

Huggs,
Lynda

Now to get busy on cutting out Halloween costumes for daughter and her Orclings, they are all three being princesses this year!

Author Reply: Hi Lynda. Many people in Vanyamar probably have ambivalent feelings towards the High King at the point for the reasons you stated. Ingwë will need to tread carefully for a bit to win back their trust. And he is a pretty smart ellon. *grin*

Things are indded going to get nasty though hankies probably won't be needed until next week, but it doesn't hurt to check your supplies now. *grin*

Good luck with the Halloween costumes and thanks for reading and reviewing. It's much appreciated.

I wish that they pay a little attention to Ingwion, I know that he may sound arrogant and petulant ( I think that it is his fear for his brother that is making him so desperate), but we know that he knows that his brother is in danger. It is like Cassandra and Troy, at the end, they will believe.

Poor Ingwë, the storm consequences are not helping his return, after a big catastrophe people will blame him for not being there for them.

At least Ingalaurë is not alone, but I don’t trust Ingoldo.

Author Reply: Hi Fantasia. Ingwion is indeed fearful for his brother and wants to rush off to help him, but they need information first and he chafes at the seeming delay. In that respect he still has some growing up to do.

And you're right about how the people of Vanyamar are viewing Ingwë. He hasn't been there when they most needed him and now he returns. He has quite a bit of fence-mending to do once he deals with Ingoldo.

We'll see in the next chapter what happens with Ingalaurë and Ingoldo. Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it very much.

Well, it's good to see Ingwe back in Vanyamar being the High King again. I'm glad that he seems to have recovered well and is doing his best to work out what's going on, even if Ingwi's being impatient. I can understand Ingwion's impatience but Arafinwe's right to shake him out of it.

So Ingwe knew about the tunnel all along because he had it built. I'm sure Valandur appreciated the news that his King had been sneaking out without him. *grin* Now, the question is what use did Ingoldo put it to...

Atto, now I have to wait *all week* to find out what Sulimondil is going to say!! Oh well, at least it's only a couple days until Wedding is updated. That'll tide me over a little bit at least. =)

Lovely chapter as always, and you've got me on the edge of my seat! hope I don't fall off! lol!

Tye-melin tenn'Ambar-metta,

Kaylee

Author Reply: Hi Kaylee. Ingwë is recovering to some extent though he's not completely there as we'll see eventually. As for Ingwion, he's rightly concerned for his brother's safety, for he doesn't trust Ingoldo, but his impatience is counter-productive, as Arafinwë points out.

Anyway, I hope you don't fall off your seat either. LOL! Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it very much.

Tye-melin.
