In Darkness Bound  by Fiondil 4 Review(s)
LarnerReviewed Chapter: 74 on 5/25/2011
Not a good situation to return to. Hope that he isn't also taken prisoner, and that aid will soon be sent to Ingwe.

But he's right about Earwen and Anaire's capabilities.

Author Reply: Hi Larner. No, not a good situation at all. We'll find out how he and everyone else fares soon enough. And we'll see Eärwen and Anairë in action too at some point. Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it very much.

Eärwen obviously has the steel spine that is necessary for the Regent, though Anaire needs to shape up. She seems a bit wimpy to me - or is that the shock?
It was certainly good that Ingwion squashed the idea of having Ingoldo come and be Regent! Who knows what he would have done with such a power base?
Ingwion's reception in Tirion is certainly worrisome - at a guess, I would say that Ingoldo perhaps had a plan to disappear Ingwion as well? He is no doubt up to his eyebrows in whatever-it-is - and now Ingwion's instincts are screaming at him to run.
Hopefully Ingwion will be able to demolish his uncle's plans - and it should be interesting to see Ingoldo's reactions as the wheels come off...

Author Reply: Hi Sunny. I think Anairë is just overwhelmed. We don't know anything about her or her family so perhaps she's just never had the necessary training in government that apparently Eärwen has had.

We will learn very shortly what is going on in Vanyamar with Ingoldo and what Ingwion and others do to stop Ingoldo in his tracks. Indeed, that plotline and the one dealing with Arafinwë are the two main plotlines for the rest of the story until they come together (there are a couple of minor subplots that will also join with the main story eventually). So you have much to look forward to. *grin*

Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it very much.

Oops! Think you should have snuck in the back way Ingwion, I don't think I like this situation one, little, tiny bit! Do I smell a rat with the name of Ingoldo?

Huggs,
Lynda

Author Reply: Hi Lynda. I don't think there is a back way into Vanyamar unless Ingwion planned to climb over the wall. *LOL* And you do smell a rat and his name is indeed Ingoldo. We'll see just what is going on in the next chapter. Thanks for reading and reviewing. It's much appreciated.

I sooooo don't like this reception in the end. Something smells so wrong. *terrified*

Author Reply: Hi Ellynn. Yes, something's rotten in Vanyamar. *grin* We'll find out what on Friday. Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it.
