Now, that will be distressing to their lady wives, seeing the horses return without them. And Eastern dragons were always thought to be lucky to know, unlike Western ones. Glad a few escaped Morgoth's influence!

I admit I only researched Eastern dragons after reading Naomi Norvik's enjoyable stories.

Love the dragon's dialogue, especially with Aragorn, and the reference to Anduril, Flame of the West, as a pin. It's rather humbling, as well as humorous, for Aragorn to meet someone not in awe of him.
