The arrogance of those two never ceases to amaze me. They think they are smater and stronger than anyone else, but they are wrong. Iluvatar is defininetly not on their side, so they are fighting a loosing battle. GOOD!!

Author Reply: They are pretty arrogant, aren't they, Tari? *grin* Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it.

Well, one can't say that Morgoth didn't deserve what he got. And it's nice to think that in part his curse touched Sauron.

Author Reply: Yes, it is, isn't it, Larner? Arrogance will do that to you and Sauron was nothing if not arrogant and he eventually learned the error of his ways in a rather dramatic fashion. Thanks for reading and reviewing. I really appreciate it.

LAUGHING. SO MUCH LAUGHING. I think my favourite bit is Gothmog.
"I don't snore!"
"Then someone was using a very loud saw to cut wood!"
DYING OF LAUGHTER

Author Reply: Hi Bookworm. I'm glad you found this so hysterical. I thought that was a pretty good line myself. *grin* Thanks for taking the time to read and review. I really appreciate it.

Heh! I may not ever be able to think of Lúthien without that komment of Melkor's popping into my head! "Flitted about like a manic bat with her dark cloak"...

Well, Sauron will learn one day just how Melkor felt after having lost something very precious - and it'll be Melkor's turn to laugh.

Thank you, this really made me smile.

Author Reply: Hi someone. That is a funny image of Lúthien, isn't it? *grin*

Glad this little tale made you smile. Thanks for letting me know.

Snicker. Amusing and ironic. Although Sauron didn't just lose some prisoners; he also lost a stronghold in a strategic position, assorted followers - and his dignity. I would imagine Morgoth would be thoroughly annoyed with him when he next saw him.

Author Reply: Hi Aiwen. I'm glad you found this tale amusing. Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it very much.

Atto! *reproachful look* Now my oatmeal's gone cold, because I had to stop in the middle of my breakfast to read this wonderful ficlet!!!!!!!!

(On the other hand, that's not such a bad trade-off. Though maple and brown sugar is my favorite too...)

Estel was adorable. And the conversation between Morgoth and Sauron...you're right, I would have been sorry for it if I'd kept eating while reading. *giggle* It's a good thing no one else was home, they'd think I'd gone insane.

"Lose something precious? Me? Of course not." Uh-huh, just you wait, Aulendil...

...And I see Melkor still hasn't given up on the bad poetry. Who'd he take lessons from, Phanainithil? (Valar, I do hope I spelled Phana's name right; I'm not looking, and it's so ridiculously long, lol!)

On second thought, she probably got her lessons from him, and he just hasn't changed his style. That's most likely it, yes.

(Just so you know, I'm eating while I'm typing. It's not completely cold yet and I don't want it to get there.)

Wonderful ficlet!

Tye-melin, Atto, tenn'ambar-Metta!

Author Reply: Hi Kaylee. I think you may be correct and Phana (I don't know how to spell her name either without having to look it up) took lessons from Melkor, only she improved her technique while Melkor never did. *grin*

Glad you enjoyed this little tale. I appreciate you letting me know.

Nice little story!

As for Sauron's final comment - "Lose something precious? Yeah, right. As if that would ever happen" - of _coooouuuuurrse_ not. *grins evilly*

Author Reply: Hi Sunny. Glad you enjoyed this. And of course Sauron's last comment is the clincher, isn't it? *grin* Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it very much.
