| This is wonderful! I love Merry especially, as he is my favorite character, and even though his appearances are somewhat short in this fic (as obviously Pippin and Diamond are the main focus here ^_^ ) you still portray him excellently. Continue soon, great job! Author Reply: Thank you! Merry is my second-favorite LotR character, so it's always nice to hear good feedback on how I write him. And he'll have a pretty major part to play in this story, though yes, the focus will remain on Pippin and Diamond. Still, you can't have a story about Pippin without a good deal of Merry involvement, right? ;) | |

| Poor Pippin! It would be terrible to think about but hopefully adoption or something will be possible! Of course we actually have to have a wedding first! I was glad to see that the new baby was Boromir, I always wondered why Pippin's boy is named Faramir, I'm glad that Merry's lad is! Looking forward to more, thank you! | i agree with all of the below, esp. elendiari ;) man, how can you write so well?!?!?!?!?! i loved merry and pippin's little interchange whilst estella was giving birth, it was all very believable, and nicely humourous too :) keep up with the updates please! | Aww, that was such a good chapter! You got that first scene from 101 Dalmatians, didn't you?! Yes you did, there's no denying it! Hehe. Poor Pippin. My heart broke for him. You are such an awesome writer; I can feel the emotions of the characters as plainly as if they were my own. I felt anxious and excited everytime Estella cried with pain, just like Merry. My heart broke everytime I remembered that Diamond would not be able to have childrn, like Pippin. And even like Estella, I felt confused at Pippin's odd mood change (even though I knew what was bothering him). I'm so excited to see another chapter with Diamond. I wanna see some action! I wanna see Pippin get in Diamond's father's face and be like, "I love her, and I WILL marry her!" lol, I love romantic angsty stuff, especially if the guy has to fight for the girl. hehe Good luck with writing the next chapter!! Author Reply: "You got that first scene from 101 Dalmatians, didn't you?!" Heehee, YES, and I was thrilled to find that someone had picked up on it! It's sad, how influenced I am by Disney movies (but hey, 101 Dalmations was my favorite movie growing up, I have a soft spot for it). I'm so glad that the emotions in that chapter came through for you. I wanted it to be a very strong scene, because I think of it as the moment when Pippin's will is set on the issue. It's where he finally says to himself, "*This* is what I want, and *this* is what I'm going to have, no matter the cost." And trust me, this story will not be lacking romantic angst. *rubs her hands together and cackles* Thank you for the wonderful feedback! | |

| All right, darn you, you take so long to update and then you make me CRY ON A SATURDAY MORNING!? Bad Rose, bad naughty wicked Rose!!! On the other hand, that was a clever, moving segue. | Beautiful and sad at the same time. Loved how nervous Merry was while waiting for the child to arrive and the way that both he and Estella included Pippin. Author Reply: Yeah, I think that Merry is way too close to Pippin for him to be left out of that event (and I don't doubt that Estella understood this very well). | Boromir Brandybuck - how cute! Certainly a good set up for Faramir Took. My heart is aching for Pippin. No one should have to make such a difficult choice. I'm so glad that I *know* it will all work out in the end, but even so, you have me dying for anothe chapter! Author Reply: I was uncertain at first as to whether Merry would've named his son Boromir, but it just seemed right, especially with Pippin naming his son Faramir... And I'm so glad that knowing the outcome already doesn't make the story less interesting to you, that was something I was a bit worried about. Thanks so much for the feedback! | |
