How nice to have a good long hobbit story!

Lots of possibilities here: Ami's fate, whether or not the older sisters will re-marry (much too soon still to fall in love again), Esmeralda and Saradoc as tweens, Lalia's temperament, what adventures will befall the stable-hobbits, why Rumbi never married. At the moment I'm guessing that, in the bridge story, he's on his way to see Ami.

Unfortunately Frodo isn't born yet....

asking them about their homelands, kin and favorite foods -- Typically hobbity!

Author Reply: This will be a longer story, 18 chapters all told, and all about hobbits! :D

This will be covering many of those points, if not all. A lot of their fates will end up depending on this Free Fair, though they don't know it yet.

Sadly, no Frodo. :( But Bilbo pops up now and again. :)

Well, naturally, those are the only things worth knowing, so far as a hobbit is concerned. ;)

Thanks for reading!

This is quite fun so far! I enjoyed seeing the Game again-- do you suppose that the stable lads will figure it out, or will they just put it out of their heads altogether now that the journey is over?

Poor Heather and Amber! And Paladin really IS a bit of a prig, for a Took! But he's a sensible prig, and has good reasons for his concern. I haven't decided yet whether Ami is really just a scatterbrain, or if she's a feminine version of Pippin-- so smart that her thoughts can't keep up with themselves, LOL!

Author Reply: I'm sure Nab and Sprig have already forgot all about the game. They're going to be quite busy for the next few days and don't have time figuring out rules for games they don't know how to play. ;)

Paladin can be a prig at times, yes, but he always has the best of intentions.

hehehe! I think it's safe to assume that Pippin acquired many of his characteristics from his Aunty Amaryllis. She can be quite focused when she puts her mind to it; she just usually doesn't. ;-D
