My Sword Trembles - Book Three - 'My Sword' Series  by Agape4Gondor 3 Review(s)

So Boromir carved a horse for Theodred? awww...I love that.

Author Reply: Oh drat - I must not have written that part very well. The horse was a gift from Prince Imrahil, Boromir's uncle, to Boromir at the Mettare before Boromir died. It was carved by one of the renowned craftsmen of Minas Tirith.

Faramir thought, because Theodred is a horse-lord, that he would be the perfect one to keep this little treasure. And besides that, Boromir and Theodred were very close friends (from My Sword Sings) and Faramir thought that Boromir would want Theodred to have it, to remember him by.

Thanks for reading - have fun!

Why do I get the feeling that I'll need to keep the tissues handy as I read this story, meldenya? I wanted to hug both Faramir and Théodred so much. I hope that the two boys each have someone who will take the time to comfort them as they work through their grief. I know they have to put on public faces and carry on but still, there's so much sorrow and terror to deal with. I just hope that Faramir doesn't bottle everything up. That's what caused problems for Denethor in canon, I think and I'd hate to see Faramir end up breaking down as Denehtor did in the books.

I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

Hugs,

Edlyn

Author Reply: I think that tissues will only be needed for a couple more chapters... with what Faramir has been through, I cannot see him 'rebounding' quickly... Faramir will forget, now and again, and smile once in awhile... but healing of such horror, along with the tortures that he lived through, will still be difficult...

However, with Gondor's sad history, I cannot say to hide the tissues all together.

Again - bless you for your continued reviews and support!

With Minas Tirith violated as it has been, even the Citadel itself--ESPECIALLY the Citadel itself--they will all tend to feel wary from this day forward.

Yes, a proper gift for a horselord (although not many horses bear "tales," most being content with swishing their tails instead, heh!)

Lovely moments here.

Author Reply: Oh bless you, Larner, for catching that blasted tale! LOL - I have 2 words that 'do me in' - tale/tail and instant/instance.

As for the Citadel... I found it bizarre to think of it when I first started writing this chapter... for it seemed to have a peaceful quality about it - until I remembered, as did Indis, that a heinous act was perpetrated upon its hallowed ground...

Thanks ever so much for reviewing!
