Oh my! What a trial these men are for Tina - and she puts up with it so well. And what a trip! Shees!

Author Reply: Yes, I guess Eglantine gets a great deal of practice, huh?!

You have ridden in a car with children, haven't you? ;-)

Ours weren't allowed to ask "Are we there yet?" So one time our teenaged son asked "Are we in close proximity of our destination?" What could we do but laugh and compliment him on coming up with a different way to ask the old question - and then we told him he couldn't ask it that way either.

Charming as always.

The plum tarts sound like a good tasting but bad idea. LOL

Author Reply: Oh yes, riding in a car with children is always a revealing experience. Interesting solution your son had, hehe!

I think Pip will have to give up on those plum tarts, but he *does* have another idea up his sleeve for the Faire....

As ever, thanks Pearl!!

LOL!!! So, Tulip has to go to the privy again? That's wonderful!

But what I don't understand is how Merry is able to read a book with Pippin constantly talking to him. That's admirable!

And I thought only women were capable of multitasking ;-)

Author Reply: Hee, I'd say Tulip has a new fixation and Pip probably needs to find a new one soon before he drives his parents to distraction. As for Merry, I got the idea from my job - if I didn't tune out all the activity around me, which is absolutely as rambunctious as Pip's doings, I'd never be able to get anything done! So, it was easy to picture Merry as being so used to Pippin's constant chatter that he was able to tune him out and read. That is, until Pip and Vinca got into it....

Thank you for reading!

Ah, the wonderful world of children! And he's blaming the privy stops on poor Tulip again? Heheheheheheee! And Tulip's going to enter the baking contest? Oh, yes! Heh!

Author Reply: Yes, kids are great and provide wonderful fodder for the imagination! Heh, Tulip has some exciting days ahead, I think!

Poor Eglantine understands "her lads" so well!

“Merrrryyyy! Tell her to stop kicking me! And stop calling Tulip names!”

“Then tell him to stop looking at me!”

*giggles* That's just perfect.

Author Reply: Yes, she sure does and I guess she's had a great deal of practice. Those are some classic 'kids traveling together in close proximity' lines, huh? Glad you liked it!
