| At least they were wrong about Aragorn's condition, but they did arrive too late for Boromir's safety. An unlikely friendship, but a blessed one. And good to see Gimli not only fighting back to back with Legolas but gathering arrows for him as the living orcs streak away. Author Reply: I've decided I really like writing Gimli - I've got him in another story I'm in the midst of - first time writing him - and he is such fun. Not as the comic relief - but just because he's stalwart and wonderful and so very different from humans and elves! Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the comments. | |
