Agape's Attempts  by Agape4Gondor 3 Review(s)

I like this one a lot. How many occasions that should be solemn in time become raucous? I think it is because death is still frightening, no matter what we are assured of . . .

I'm glad you've been so kind to Denethor.

Author Reply: I adore Denethor - he has the best sons! *giggles* So how could I not love their father?

As for the 'festival' - it is our way to change things that are dark into light; unfortunately, the light then becomes dark again, at times, because we twist goodness.

Denethor witnesses a scene that is in many ways reminiscent of our own culture--days of solemnity turned into raucous revelry. Ah, human nature. Well done, Agape!

Author Reply: Thanks, Allee. Very grateful for the 'well done!'

Yes, so many died in the long fight against the Enemy.

Author Reply: I'm hoping to put together a little listing of all those (especially in the Battle of the Pelennor) of those who died. Wish me luck!
