LOL! That’s great!

Author Reply: Thanks! I enjoyed writing it.... and Faramir really had a good laugh. I think, eventually, that Boromir would have seen the humor in the situation.

This was hilarious! I know exactly what he means -- it CAN be difficult not to laugh at people in their new clothes. How humiliating it must have been for proud Boromir!

Author Reply: Well - humiliating until he had a chance to think about it - it was really a proud moment and poor Faramir was only 15 - so he can be forgiven!

It really isn't a very sober image . . .

I'm trying . . .

No, Faramir has it right. Much too funny!!

hehehe

Author Reply: Poor Faramir tried to be serious too, PT - so you're in good company!!!!

:D

I think that wingéd helm is a bit much, too!

Author Reply: I can't believe Tolkien wrote the helmets that way!!!! He said they were based on Egyptian... Wow - odd lot and poor Faramir - Boromir had not idea he looked rather - silly!

LarnerReviewed Chapter: 11 on 7/21/2007
Yes--that winged helm would be something to giggle over! Heh!

Author Reply: I love the pictures different artists have used to portray these helms... especially those guarding the White Tree. Hilarious... I'm pretty sure Boromir finally saw the fun of it and joined Faramir in laughter!
