| In ages past, he would have felt an answering pain in his shoulder. What a sense of timelessness this line provides! And what a peaceful little glimpse of Frodo healing. It has such a nice feel to it! Author Reply: Thank you! About time the sweet Hobbit healed... I think it would have taken some time... but one day to realize, as he looks at something that might have been terrifying, to realize that he does NOT have the pain, nor the fear - what a joy-filled day! | |
