Grey WondererReviewed Chapter: 6 on 7/28/2007
It truly was almost too much to lose, wasn't it?

Author Reply: How these people, or for that matter, any people in the midst of a great war that decimates so much of what one loves - how they ever survived and smiled again is beyond me.... except for moments like this - when the offspring of one that is touched beyond endurance sallies forth in innocent joy!

One of my favorite characters, and you write him wonderfully! This is another little drabble that has a great sound. Not to mention the images are stunning!

Author Reply: I absolutely adore Imrahil! Thanks for the vote of confidence in the writing of him.... Most appreciated.

A greaat-nephew to prove that the linage of love contines on, in spite of the losses.

Author Reply: Somehow - that is the thing I have to continually remind myself - that life goes on - and beautifully - if one can look beyond the sorrow and loss....

NestaReviewed Chapter: 6 on 7/8/2007
That creates a terrific atmosphere with just a few words. And I like the balance of loss and gain. Would Faramir ever have thought for an instant that surrender might have been a better option, though? It's not as if he's fighting against a chivalrous enemy who would give the other side a reasonably fair deal.

Author Reply: In the deepest recesses of his mind, Nesta, perhaps a fleeting thought might come - surrender possible? But only fleeting, if at all.
