I read all of your Eucatastrophe stories! I really liked them! When are you going to write more of them?

Author Reply: *grin* Actually, I had begun work on one when I lost part of it to computer troubles. Now that problem's solved, so I hope I will be able to start up on it again.

That was great! The Professor briefly notes what transpires in other parts of Middle-earth while the War is going on in the south, but I think you brought out something lovely in Galadriel that I didn't see in the Book. Its probably just my own whacked interpretation, but I took her to be somewhat aloof, yet here, I liked her. But, as you know, I love this universe of yours. :-)

Author Reply: I haven't done Galadriel very often, but I've done a couple of other drabbles with her. And I remember that in my first reading of the book, like you, I thought her aloof and even, dare I say it, sinister. But after many more readings, I've come to appreciate her kindness and sorrow and bravery.

She had to be desperate to know what was going on--so many that she loved in peril at that moment! Her husband, her grandsons and her granddaughter's betrothed on the front lines of battle; her son-in-law protecting his realm; and the brave and small beings she had sent off from Lothlorien on a seemingly hopeless mission.

It would have been such a shock - and such a relief. The Ringbearers would have been euphoric - and there would have been so much less killing as the battles ended abruptly.

ooooo! I could really feel the tension building! Well Done!

Author Reply: It had to be a very tense time, and only she was in any position to see a little of what was happening everywhere else...

Thank you!

How very wonderful to think of Galadriel at that moment of all moments when all are engaged against the enemy, and then realizing that beyond all hope the Ring indeed was destroyed, and indeed all are free at last!

Excellent!

Author Reply: Yes; it was a totally unexpected moment, for up till then, the holders of the Three did not believe that it *could* happen that way, though they had dared to hope just a little, still they were *willing* to sacrifice them--and I think it was that very willingness that was honored.

Oh, wow, I love seeing this moment from Galadriel's POV! And what a momentous one it was, too!
God bless,
Galadriel

Author Reply: Even though it had to have happened in my AU, I probably would not have decided to show it without the prompt! That's what I love about challenges!

Oh I like this. I captures the sense of how desperate action was all over ME.

Author Reply: I'm glad you felt that--it had to be incredibly difficult everywhere, and Galadriel was the only one who had any hope of seeing what was happening elsewhere...

That was neat! I liked it. I've read all of them up till now and enjoyed every single one! I like this way of learning the alphabet better than just singing the letters! LOL! Hantanyel!
Yours,
Frodo baggins

Author Reply: I'm glad you've enjoyed them. So far I have not been stumped by a prompt yet; I just have to keep hoping!
