My Sword Weeps - Book Two - 'My Sword' Series  by Agape4Gondor 1 Review(s)
LarnerReviewed Chapter: 38 on 4/14/2007
Poor young man, to learn such a truth about his father and his kindred. And I certainly agree about the probability that evil blood has managed to creep into the lords of Gondor, although I have my own eye on Umbar rather than orcs. Heh!

Author Reply: I love Tolkien's description of Angbor and especially his deed in following Aragorn and the Dead - so there was NO WAY I was going to sully his image. Best leave him an innocent in this - as much as possible!

'But defenders and foes alike gave up the battle and fled when we came, crying out that the King of the Dead was upon them. Only Angbor, Lord of Lamedon, had the heart to abide us; and Aragorn bade him gather his folk and come behind, if they dared, when the Grey Host had passed.'ROTK

'Four thousands I sent marching from Pelargir through Lossarnach two days ago; and Angbor the fearless rides before them.'ROTK
