Sweet and loving - hannon le!

Yes, a lovely image to contemplate, the two males of her family finding peace with a wooden boat.

Too bad tentacles did one day reach for Frodo, though.

(Knelt would be the word to describe what Drogo did by the tub.)

Author Reply: You know, I didn't intent the tentacles as a foreshadowing moment. I simply liked the giant octupus :)

Thank you for pointing out the overlooked mistake. It's changed now.

Oh, Lily! Another sweet one. Beautiful little pictures of the grubby tot, the frazzled father, and the patient, loving mother. Very sweet. Someone who grew up to be so strong, sensitive, and intelligent had to have a good beginning. thank you for sharing these images.

Author Reply: Frodo might have had a short time with his parents, but that time was precious.
Thank you.

LOL! That Frodo is a little rascal, and no mistake! I love these looks at Frodo's early childhood. Primula and Drogo are so wonderful! I've heard it said that the only thing that can overcome the Baggins stubbornness is the equal will of another Baggins, but a mother's wisdom might be added to that. :) Love the peaceful moment at the end!
God bless,
Galadriel

That's true for Frodo and Bilbo, I think. But Primula certainly has her own ways to "manage" her two Bagginses :)
Thanks for reading and commenting.

Father and son were very much alike, not only in looks. Both shared their dark curls and a stubbornness that sometimes brought even her to the end of her wits. Her husband however, claimed it was the strong will of the Brandybucks that Frodo had inherited.

LOL! Now, what does that remind me of ;-)

I love stories about the Baggins family!
The question is, who is the winner of this "competition of wills"?
Primula's opinion was confirmed, Drogo did give in, but not without adding a Baggins' custom to the bathing - storytelling. And Frodo? Well, Frodo did have most of the fun!

Author Reply: The Baggins family is certainly one of my favourite topics. I know Frodo as a child of 11 and onwards, I know him as an adult, I look at his tweens at the moment.... but his early childhood still gets most of my attention in English fiction. Partly because I've grown to love Primula so much.

Yep, the victory certainly belongs to all three - depending on the way you look at it :) Drogo and Primula certainly will have their quiet evening now - if Drogo is not too exhausted from his ordeal that is :)
