And he found indeed the day had come, and so he must indeed seek those dread paths.

This draws together some interesting threads from several places. Aragorn had to be hesitant to take that road. I can't imagine anyone jumping up and down to do it, prophecy or no prophecy. And all this fateful stuff was coming at him at once. If I were him, I'd want time to think about it!

Nice job.

Author Reply: Poor guy only had a few hours to think about it at that, too. I'd take at least a week.

Thanks ^^

I like the dread and avoidance here - he didn't just get the message and whip out his Rand McNally Road Atlas of Middle Earth, 3016 edition, large print, and go, "Paths of the Dead...Paths of the...should be exit 158, right after Dunharrow...aha! There it is. Well, let's get moving, then!"

Of course you you realize that you've just obligated yourself to do the Palantir scene.

Author Reply: It would have been much easier for the Fellowship if they had a nice, detailed map. Personally I like Karen Foster's edition; very detailed. XD

And I have done a palantir scene. It's #9, and will be up publically very soon. Happy? ;P
