Good thing Elbeth is there. Aragorn needs a lot of care - but he trusts her as much as he trusts anyone right now.

Elbeth is proving an unexpected blessing to Faramir as poor Aragorn trusts him no longer.

Again, poor Aragorn, and poor Fara, not only does he have the terrible ordeal of dealing with Aragorn's wounds, he has to deal with them while Aragorn keeps calling him a traitor and lashing out at him. Thank goodness for Elbeth, she continues to deal with this whole adventure very well for someone of her age.

Poor Faramir, having to rely on a little kid to medicate Aragorn. But at least he's got help, and Elbeth is an unusually resourceful child.

I would disagree that kittens are more cuddly and pretty than puppies, though; both critters are physically attractive and exceptionally cute. However, considering how helpful Elbeth has been, Faramir should let her have ten ginger kitties if they ever get home.

Faramir is indeed lucky to have Elbeth, who is far from the problem he anticipated her to be.

I think the world is divided into puppy and kitten people !I Do think both are cute but have a special love of kittens.I'm sure Faramir will see Elbeth is rewarded with the kitten of her dreams.

I don't know about best Aragorn angst Linda. I think that it is the torture that you put Faramir through that makes this so hard to read! But I am glad that Elbeth is there for both their sakes.

I think both Aragorn and Faramir suffer almost equally, begging the question of is suffering of the mind or body hardest to bear?

ELbeth is proving to be her father's aughter and a great asset.
