Oh, Linda, I'm so sorry for missing chapters. It turns out that the workload before graduation is no breeze. But now it's getting late, so I'll just drop off a little short review.

Ah, this meeting at the end of the chapter was just too much for poor Imrahil. Though Faramir is doing this to save Aragorn, I would have thought that Imrahil could be trusted enough to be told of the matter. This chapter was so suspenseful that I just had to go on your other site to continue reading. =) Well, I won't spoil it but all I'm going to say is that Imrahil's actions show that he still cares about Faramir despite the claim of disowning him from the family. Well, dear readers, I'll tell you only this: Tarostar will be involved. Now you can piece together two and two. SORRY LINDA! Don't be mad.

So now Arwen is an elven-witch, is she? WOW, you cruel author, you go too far. =) And Elessar her lapdog and Faramir his? Things are getting a little crazy right now...but I guess that's the only way to win the trust and confidence of the lords of Ringlo Vale, Lossarnach, and Lamedon. Though I wish there'd been another way...

Poor Imrahil, I hope he doesn't explode with anger, what with high blood pressure and all that stuff that adults have to worry about.

Hmmmm I wonder what those sharp pains that Faramir is feeling are. Perhaps they may relate to the king's pain, perhaps they may not. But at any rate Arwen isn't feeling these pains. Or if she is then she clearly isn't talking.

Update soon! You know that all your readers don't like cliffys!

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I missed you.I'm sorry you are so bogged down with schoolwork, that is the best thing about growiing older,no more homework !

Faramir's words may come back to haunt him but he has to be convincing. It certainly won't do Imrahil's blood pressure any good,or Faramir's for that matter !

Aragorn and Faramir's bond was forged through suffering, whereas Aragorn's bond with Arwen was much more peaceful.

I hope to update very soon and improve the version on the other site.

Ah, Faramir is a good actor... though I know it is killing him to do so. It would be incredibly lonely to be in that kind of a situation, especially now with what Imrahil is doing. Not that I blame Imrahil in the least, someone needs to stand up to Faramir for what he is doing since they do not know that he is only pretending. It makes it all the more convincing. Looking forward to more.

I think it surprises Faramir and will continue to do so just what he is capable of pretending.IT must be so hard for him to bear the burden alone,I didn't enjoy writing this part of the story.
Imrahil is acting as Faramir needed him to,but it must still hurt.

Poor Faramir.

Struggling to do right - help Arwen and find Aragorn. Forced to behave sneakily and hating every minute. And extra difficult really, because he is so clearly honest - although I suppose that would mean he would be more likely to get away with lies.

And if Imrahil knew he'd have a job acting quite this disgusted.

But still...

Poor Faramir is having to go against every instinct as he is so truthful and honest, but as you say it makes him all the more convincing.

It would be better for him if he could tell his uncle, but maybe not for Aragorn.

Ouch; Faramir is proving too good at this traitor simulation. Calling Arwen an elven witch is certainly a quick way to gain the real traitors' attention, but will Faramir ever live this down? Hope it's all worth the cost! Especially since Imrahil has rejected Faramir over the latter's supposed treachery.

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.Everything Faramir tries,he does wholeheartedly, especially if it is for his KIng, but I doubt Aragorn will be very happy if he ever hears what Arwen was called !
