Dreamflower's Dribs and Drabs  by Dreamflower 3 Review(s)
LarnerReviewed Chapter: 52 on 4/15/2013
So much of his adventure seems tied to here, the one place he probably felt truly safe and able to satisfy his curiosity throughout the whole of his adventure. And Elrond will be doubly glad when time brings Frodo there afterwards, seeing what promise Bilbo was able to prepare for that day.

Author Reply: Yes, Rivendell has so much significance for those who were on the side of the Light--over the centuries, Elrond had made it a haven of peace and respite, which reached it's climax when Frodo arrived.

I would have loved to stay here myself. Bilbo is one lucky hobbit in more ways than one! :)

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: Yes, The Last Homely House has such a lovely sound to it!

You know, it really is extraordinary that Bilbo ended up in Rivendell. I never really thought about it before.

(such a retirement plan. I only wish...)

Author Reply: I've always thought that Elrond was very glad to welcome him there as one of its inhabitants!
