Oh dear, what is Eomer yelling about now?? Great chapters, I like how Eomer finally apologises to Faramir. Nothing like a little mud to do them all good, right? : ) Good Job~

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I think it was about time that Eomer apologised !I'm pleased you are enjoying the story.Mud certainly works miracles !

Eomer is squealing like a girl. (I hope Aragorn and Faramir are noting it - and that their unspoken looks will stay in Eomer's memory!) I suspect the orange salve has found its way somewhere it shouldn't. Good. He should know what Faramir is enduring - and has endured. He's quite mercurial, isn't he? Goes from fury to partisanship in a few breaths. He must be tiring to live with.

I'm glad Faramir's health is picking up.

I feel sorry for the servants who have to come and scoop out the mud, though. Does its magical properties affect them, or does it only work just after it's mixed?

Author Reply: Although I like Eomer,I did think he needed to experience some of the pain that Faramir has had to endure .I think he will eventually mature into a much wiser man as he is good hearted, just he needs to learn patience and wisdom.
I fear the mud only works just after it is mixed.I don't envy the servants either, but at least everyone has been treated at the same time.
Many thanks for your much appreciated review.

wow, Eomer shrieks... Eomer SHRIEKS???!!! wow, i cant believe it. oh yes, i loved this story even though poor Faramir is suffering under immense pain. oh yeah , let me carry it one step further. if Lothiriel is married to Eomer, there'll be a lot to yell at. see, Faramir is Lothiriel's cousin, so she'll yell at Eomer for beating up her cousin. then, she'll yell at Faramir for beating up her husband.

i felt sorry for Faramir. he suffered a lot of pain already, and now he's in pain still...

well, Eomer finally admits he's wrong. i bet it was the worst moment of his life...
serves him right for acting like a jerk. he screams like a girl, and everybody will now know that he's a pervert or something...

lovely story!!!!!

update as fast as you can!!!!

though i'm busy, i still managed to read this,

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I expect Eomer will get a good talking to from his wife once he returns, but maybe by the time she sees Faramir, all will be forgotten.
I certainly don't think Eomer a pervert,he is just dreadfully impulsive, but he is a brave and good man at heart. He just needs to mature !
Poor Faramir has indeed suffered a great deal.

After they manage to extricate themselves from this affair, Aragorn should definitely consider setting up a class to teach The Elven Healing Techniques (tm) to some other healers in Gondor. They seem to work rather well, and it is not fair either to Aragorn or Faramir that Aragorn is the only one who can administer this treatment to Faramir. It's causing him a great deal of emotional distress, which can't possibly be conducive to good results for Faramir, delicate flower that he is.

He expected Faramir to berate him soundly.

Not in a million years, Aragorn. Surely he can't be that blind to his friend's personality.

And Éomer crawls back with his tail between his legs. Good to see someone taking the blame who actually deserves it. Éomer overreacted in a big way to that letter, and he's very lucky that Aragorn is willing to forgive him. (Faramir, of course, will forgive anyone.)

Author Reply: Yes,indeed,Aragorn ought to set up some classes for the Gondorian Healers to take in Elven techniques as the poor man can't be everywhere at once.
Thank you for your much appreciated review, you gave me a much needed laugh with your accurate observations of Faramir,Aragorn and Eomer

Poor Faramir! And just like Eomer - has to have his nose rubbed in it to appreciate the true situation. But I have to grin at the end of the chapter and the beginning of the next! If you are too impatient and don't wait to read/hear the instructions well......

Author Reply: I feel sorry for Faramir here too.I think it is typical of Eomer not to wait for the instructions !
Many thanks for your much appreciated review.

For once, things are going well for our long-suffering heroes. Even King Idiot-er-Eomer is seeing the light after seeing mud and stars; though who knows what he's done at the end of the chapter.

I liked the part where Aragorn massaged Faramir's shoulders. Um, does Elessar do house calls?

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review and for making me smile.I will see if I can talk the King into paying you a visit, though Faramir does seem to keep the poor man rather busy !
