Burden of Guilt  by Linda Hoyland 2 Review(s)
French PonyReviewed Chapter: 47 on 1/11/2006
Catching up, as I've just returned from a wild jaunt.

I like the interaction between Faramir and Aragorn here. It's much more relaxed than it has been for a long time, which is a relief. But Faramir still has some work to do, and that's realistic. Can't change someone's opinions overnight like that.

And I love that Aragorn snores.

There must be moments when Aragorn must sigh inside and long to be able to talk to Faramir without having to be so very careful not to upset his Denethor-damaged sensibilities. The boy has been trained to be a bit too humble and respectful.

Still - experiencing the full force of the regal snore should help convince him of Aragorn's basic humanity!

I am glad to see things are easing off a bit - except for Eomer, who still needs a bit of therapeutic kicking. I hope the lull continues!

Author Reply: You are so right about Faramir, though seeing Aragorn bring his baby back to life might make anyone want to venerate him !

I think the snoring has brought him back to earth !

THe worse is almost over for our heroes, except Eomer !

Many thanks for your much appreciated review.
