Burden of Guilt  by Linda Hoyland 1 Review(s)
French PonyReviewed Chapter: 31 on 11/4/2005
Finally, at long last, reason prevails! Aragorn and Éowyn finally stop hashing over their blame issues and get around to dealing with Faramir. Arwen's cool, rational presence seems to be a great help here; she ought to hang around more often.

It seems that what Faramir really needs is a strong rock to lean on. He can't have had many people like that in his life; Boromir was probably it. Once he can lean on someone strong, it looks like he can let go of his problems just a little bit. It's good for both of them that Aragorn has finally figured out that he has to be that strong, ever so slightly commanding presence.

Author Reply: Arwen is very wise and strong, she is going to play a larger part in the story from now on.

I agree that Faramir needs a rock,if he will only permit himself to allow Aragorn to help , now he no longer has Boromir.
Many thanks for your much appreciated review.
