Paradox of the Fourth Age  by Alassante 3 Review(s)

It gets better and better... A great piece....

I love the courtship of Laureanna and Elrohir and how he stood up to Glorfindel, that was brave of him.

Laureanna, you have to feel for her. She sees a vision that may or may not happen and it is about her parent. She needs more direction and has none.

Elrohir is her saving grace, and she has confronted him, at least he now amits he loves her. She wants him to make her his wife, if he dies she will wait for him.

A very good piece...Love it...

Author Reply: Thanks so much. I'm glad you enjoy it. I knew I needed to let Laureanna get back some of her fiery spirit now she's been in Middle Earth for awhile. She *is* Glorfindel's daughter but to be Elrohir's wife she had to have a lot of spirit and backbone as well. It was time for her to show it. ;)

Ah--an Elven wedding! No need for parties and invitations and special dresses or anything else--they are married once their hröa are joined. And he accepts that he loves her as much as she loves him. It's about time that they join! And I'm glad she has Legolas as her voice of reason. Things are indeed going as they are supposed to be.

Author Reply: Yeah if only mortal marriages were so easy but then again since we would be bound for ever - perhaps not lol Yes, Legolas is much needed to temper her impulsive actions. The Valar knew what they were doing there. =)
