| Oh, Bless HIM! And the handkerchief comes home again! And it's April 8. Will come down once I'm done with my last client, and stay through the thirteenth. 57 that day. Seems like yesterday Meesh and I and her guide dog Whisper were wandering the campus of our college during our senior year, or I was playing tug of war with Whisper in the hallways. Her cancer checks remain clear, for which I'm deeply grateful. Author Reply: Oh, that's good to hear. Will circle that date on the calendar. Have choir rehearsal that evening, but there has to be at least one day in that stretch we can get together. Whisper, what a perfect name. Our guide dog puppies have always been super quiet--almost unnaturally so, and I wonder if somehow it's bred into them. | |
