| Aww; poor, innocent little Lothiriel is already a pawn in the marriage-game; as would be typical of a powerful Prince's only daughter. At least she'll get a pony out of the situation! Author Reply: "Pawn" might be a harsh way to put it; it's the way of the world for those useful highborn daughters and something I'm sure they learn to expect from early on.
