| I so enjoy seeing the hobbits through others' eyes... and seeing how charmed the rangers are with the Little Folk (like, who wouldn't be, right?) And Frodo still has a low-grade fever and naps beneath a tree . . . very sweet. Low grade fever, high-grade fever---it's all good! I can see your archaeology background in so many of your stories, and I love it---even though it's Middle-earth, you make it seem like real history! | |

| “No ducks this time,” Frodo laughed, hugging his young cousin. “Just fwogs.” “Fwogs,” Pippin corrected, eliciting a chuckle from Halbarad. LOL! I love that Tookish accent :) It's typical of Frodo to honor the tree, under which he prepares to sleep. And Thalguron, after some thinking, does the same. I think, Frodo has made a great impression on him. | |

| Awwww....Poor Pippin seems to know whenever anyone needs comfort. Even at this tender age. Went straight to Halbawad, ( ;o) ) and then I'm suspecting right into his heart. Sweet wee hobbit lad. Loved both Frodo and then Thalguron gave thanks to the tree. Lovely chapter Shirebound and thanks for the review of my story over at LJ. Been pretty sick since I posted it and just haven't been able to make it over there to add and also answer the two reviews I got. Thanks again!! :o) | |

| Of course they need to trust the folk of the Shire, particularly as these three and one more one day will do so very much for all of Middle Earth! Love the chase between Pippin and Scamp, and the realization that even the tree they rest under deserves respect and thanks. | |
